How this texture was made

The rust generator layers orange and red oxide patches on top of a dark metal base, using FBM noise to produce the organic spreading pattern characteristic of corrosion. A separate streaking pass adds vertical rust streaks that read as rain-washed oxide running down a surface.

Heat-discolored metal with purple and blue temper colors from high temperatures. Suited for exhaust pipes, welded joints, and fire-damaged surfaces.
