How this texture was made

The asphalt generator combines a base dark tone with multiple aggregate layers. The primary aggregate is a random distribution of small stones — each rendered as a slightly-lighter dot with minor colour variation.

Newly laid asphalt with clean dark surface and fine aggregate. Fresh road surface for urban street scenes and modern parking lot renders.

Configuration choices

• roughness is set to 0.2, which is at the low end — producing a smoother, more polished finish
• crackIntensity is set to 0, which is at the low end — producing an almost crack-free, smooth surface
• aggregateDensity is set to 0.3, which is at the low end — with sparse, minimal aggregate visible
