Whitewashed Brick

How this texture was made

The brick generator starts with a grid of rectangular cells, offsets every other row by half the brick width to create the classic running bond, and then draws mortar lines where the cell edges fall. Each brick gets a per-cell noise value — seeded deterministically from its row and column — that shifts its colour by a small amount.

Pale, lime-washed brick with weathered character and soft contrast. Perfect for coastal cottages, shabby chic interiors, and farmhouse walls.

Configuration choices

• weathering is set to 0.6, which is high — with heavy distress and aged character
• brickWidth 90 — sets the dominant brick length in the pattern
• brickHeight 40 — sets the brick thickness relative to its length

Palette character

The palette spans pale orange, near-white with orange tint, near-white with amber tint. It reads warm with all values held in the light range.

When this texture fits best

Lends itself to branded pattern libraries, wrapping paper, wallpaper, tile visualisation, and UI decoration that wants a constructed feel. Brick works best at scale — individual bricks need enough pixels to read as distinct objects.
