How this texture was made

The grass generator draws thousands of short vertical strokes, each representing a blade, at randomised positions across the tile. Each blade is rendered with a slight colour variation and a subtle directional noise that makes it lean one way or another, simulating wind or gravity.

Perfectly manicured sports field turf with ultra-dense short blades and no patchiness. Suited for soccer pitch textures, stadium fields, and professional athletic ground surfaces.

Configuration choices

• dryness is set to 0, which is at the low end — producing a dry, arid surface
• density is set to 0.95, which is high — producing a dense, tightly-packed appearance
• seed 8 — changing this produces a different but statistically similar variant

Palette character

The palette pairs deep lime with deep vivid lime. It reads cool with all values held in the dark range.

When this texture fits best

Works as an overlay layer, compositional grit, natural-surface ground, or as a base for additional texture stacking. Grass is best for overhead or middle-distance views; extreme close-ups may reveal the repeating pattern.
